CHISTRE carried out the following activities as part of its malaria elimination program Advocacy visits were conducted in three Local Government areas ;Apapa, Alimosho and Oshodi/Isolo, and to the leaders of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), the leaders of market men and women association, Chairmen of community development areas (CDA) through the Local Council. CHISTRE was able to gain the interest of the majority of the audience through awareness and sensitization activities.
Other activities were made participatory by allowing questions and answer sessions during which cloudy areas on malaria preventions and the malaria myths were cleared. Two (2) drama presentations were conducted each across the three (3) local government areas. A lot of challenges were encountered and naturally surmounted.
