Mr. Nduka Ozor, the Project Director of the Centre for HIV/AIDS and STD Research (CHISTRE) in Nigeria, was recognized as the Man of the Month on the USAID Strategic Behaviour Communication Springboard Member Spotlight. CHISTRE, based in Nigeria, addresses the socioeconomic concerns of rural and poor communities throughout the country. The organization’s focus includes HIV prevention, viral hepatitis, malaria, tuberculosis care, and support for orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as people living with HIV/AIDS. CHISTRE also engages in broader STD prevention, environmental protection, youth empowerment, and poverty alleviation efforts.
